Gastroenterology
Dr. Arun C. Naik
Dr. Naik is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
He has extensive experience in management of liver disorders including chronic viral hepatitis (Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C) and cirrhosis. He has special interest in biliary endoscopy, treatment of Hepatitis C and the medical management of obesity.
Dr. Naik completed both his Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship at Interfaith Medical Center in New York and trained at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He attended an additional year of post fellowship training at Beth Israel Medical Center to be proficient in therapeutic endoscopy.
Dr. Naik is on the medical staff of: Trinitas Hospital, Elizabeth; Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, Rahway; Overlook Hospital, Summit; and St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston.
He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterology Association and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Cardiology
Dr. Hyeun (Tom) Park
Dr. Park is a non-invasive Cardiologist and is board certified in Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography and Internal Medicine and Cardiology.
Dr. Park completed his cardiology training at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, N.Y. During his training, he has written several articles in peer-reviewed cardiology journals.
He is licensed in both New Jersey and New York and is an attending physician at Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth.

Neurology
Dr. Howard Kuo
Dr. Kuo is board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
A graduate of Beijing University, Dr. Kuo completed his internship in Internal Medicine and his residency in Neurology from St. Louis University Hospital.
He has hospital privileges at UMDNJ/University Hospital in Newark; and at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
He is an Assistant Professor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry.

| OUR PRACTICE
Union Medical Group is a private medical practice established in 2003 by Dr. Nereida Diaz-Johnson and Dr. Clark Philogene. The doctors have a close history of collaboration, having practiced together as staff physicians for the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) and, before that, as staff physicians for H.I.P. They currently serve as attending physicians at Overlook Hospital in Summit.
